To chop, or not to chop?

Ugh. UGH. I'm having one of those "dammit hair, why are you so awkward all the damn time for damns sake!" moments.

I have been toying with the idea of chopping it all off, reverting back to the hair style I rocked through college and through most of Uni.

So, to have some perspective on it, here are a few snaps of my hair as it appears at this moment in time (or at least between August and November).

And here are some ideas of how I want my hair styled:

I am not even considering bleaching it, just to alleviate your fears before they appear.

I have naturally curly hair, and when its wet and short it dries in Marcel/finger waves so it would mean I could save time in the mornings by doing absolutely nothing to it...

I'm visiting my extremely talented best friend in London on Friday, who happens to be an extremely talented hair stylist to go along with it. With that in mind I trust here entirely not to make me look like a moron, and do some kind of variation that frames my face and makes me look glamorous and amazing and perfect (ish).

The ultimate question, after growing my hair for a good 3 years has to be.... To chop, or not to chop?

  1. I think your hair looks amazing, I'm trying to grow mine at the moment and wear extensions to make it look as long as yours x

    1. I actually found Lee Stafford Max Growth Treatment (I think thats what it's called) to be a godsend when I was trying to grow mine! Spoken to others who have said they didn't notice a difference with the length but noticed it at least conditioned it very well. Might be worth a go :)

      (I didn't chop in the end!) x
